Tramontana - Mr Feelgood
The Tramontana is a cooled northerly wind that announces lovely weather. It usually blows after the Bura or rain from the mountains and has the characteristics of the Bura, however it is a uniform wind, without squalls and has a mostly stable northerly direction.
It doesn’t blow as strongly as the Bura, however the further it is away from the coast, the larger waves it raises. In extremes, especially on the open sea it can blow very forcefully, just like the Bura.
