Licenses

Sailing and VHF radio license are required for sailing the boats in Croatia. Besides Croatian licenses the majority of international sailing certificates are accepted as well. If you or your crew members do not have the required certificates we can easily provide a skipper for you – you just need to add it as an optional extra to your booking.

Security Deposit

€ 3.000 – refundable amount that is to be paid at the base in cash or credit card before the embarkation. It will be reimbursed to you at the disembarkation after the boat has been inspected and confirmed as undamaged.

Cancellation Conditions

MK Yacht Explorer offers a full refund for cancellations done within 48hr from the booking confirmation as long as confirmations are done up to 15 days prior to embarkation. Cancellation policy depends on the charter operator and will be presented to you in General T&C for your particular booking.

Crew meals

When crew is hired, the client is responsible for cowering the crews’s meals throughout the charter. This can be fulfiled in the two ways:

• Including the crews in onboard meals (eating with the guests) , or
• Providing a daily meal allowance if the crew eats separately (usually when quests prefer privacy

If guests prefer the crew not to dine with them:

• A daily food allowance €35-€45 (pro person) is customarily provided to the crew (skipper or hostess  or cook)
• The crew will then take care of their own meals, typically off the boat or separately from quests

Cancellation  policy when crew is booked

50% cancellation fee in case of cancellation up to 15 days prior to embarkation

100% cancellation fee in case of cancellation within 14 days prior to embarkation
